At Trust Matters, we believe that trust isn’t just a word, it’s a promise. A promise to our clients, our community, and ourselves to deliver financial advice that is ethical, personalised, and enduring. This month, we’re proud to share that this promise has once again been recognised at the highest level: We have been awarded the Business All-Star Accreditation for the sixth year in a row by the All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF).

This milestone is more than a badge of honour. It’s a reflection of the values we live by, the relationships we’ve built, and the consistent performance we’ve delivered year after year. As we mark this achievement, we want to take a moment to explain what it means, for us, for our clients, and for the future of financial planning in Ireland.

What Is the Business All-Star Accreditation?

The Business All-Star Accreditation is awarded by the All-Ireland Business Foundation, an independent national body that promotes best-in-class Irish businesses. The accreditation process is rigorous, involving detailed evaluations of a company’s performance, trustworthiness, customer centricity, and reputation. It includes interviews, anonymous customer experience assessments, and feedback from clients, employees, and vendors.

As Kapil Khanna, Managing Director ofthe AIBF, explains, "we evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”

Andrew O’Loughlin, founder and Managing Director of Trust Matters, says “we’re incredibly proud to receive our sixth consecutive All-Star accolade. Our clients place a huge amount of trust in us, and we never take that lightly. This recognition is down to the commitment of our team, who work every day to ensure our advice is sound, ethical, and tailored to each person’s goals.”

Andrew’s words reflect the heart of our business. We don’t just offer financial planning, we offer peace of mind, clarity, and confidence. Whether it’s pensions, investments, estate or succession planning, our goal is to help clients make informed decisions that support their long-term wellbeing.

Why Trust Matters

Since our founding, Trust Matters has focused on creating tailored financial strategies that evolve with our clients’ needs. We understand that financial planning isn’t one-size-fits-all. Life changes, goals shift, and markets move. That’s why we take the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and aspirations. Our financial planning approach for individuals is built on three pillars:

Personalised Service – Every client receives advice that’s tailored to their life stage, financial goals, and risk profile.

Ethical Standards – We adhere to the highest standards of transparency, honesty, compliance and professionalism.

Long-Term Relationships – We’re here for the journey, not just the transaction. Many of our clients have been with us for years, from day one.

These pillars have helped us build a reputation as one of Ireland’s most trusted names in financial planning. And they’re the reason we’ve earned the AIBF’s recognition six years running.

What This Means for Our Clients

For our clients, this milestone is an affirmation of the trust they’ve placed in us. It means that the advice they receive is not only personalised and ethical, it’s also backed by a nationally recognised standard of excellence. We’re grateful for this trust and we’re committed to continuing to earn it, every day, with every conversation, and every piece of advice we give.

As Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair of the AIBF Adjudication Board, put it “earning an All-Star accreditation is an achievement, earning it six years in a row is a statement. Trust Matters has set the standard for client care and professionalism in financial planning. Their consistent performance and dedication are exactly what this accolade is designed to honour.”

Innovation and Responsibility

While we’re proud of our past, we’re even more excited about the future. Trust Matters is constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of our clients and the world around us. One area we’re particularly passionate about is sustainability. In recent years, we’ve launched an initiative to plant a tree for every new client, a small but meaningful step toward reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a greener future. Our woodland project in Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford is growing alongside our business, symbolising our commitment to long-term thinking and responsible growth.

We’re also embracing digital tools and platforms to enhance client experience, streamline communication and investment ,and provide more flexible access to financial advice. But no matter how much technology we adopt, our core values remain unchanged: trust, integrity, and quality service.

A Team Effort

This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the incredible people behind Trust Matters. Each and every member of our team plays a vital role in delivering the quality and care our clients deserve.

We’re proud to say that we share a common purpose: to help people make informed, smart financial decisions that support their unique goals and values. It’s this shared commitment that fuels our success, and it’s why we’ve earned the trust of so many individuals, families, and businesses across Ireland.

With that in mind our heartfelt thanks to:

Our clients, for their trust, loyalty, and partnership.

Our team, for their dedication, professionalism, and passion.

The AIBF team, for recognising our efforts and holding us to the highest standards.

Six years of Business All-Star Accreditation is a fantastic achievement, but at Trust Matters, we see it as a stepping stone to even greater impact. We’ll continue to innovate, listen, and lead with integrity. Because for us, trust isn’t just a milestone. It’s our mission.

If you’re looking for financial advice that’s ethical, personalised, and built to last, we’d love to hear from you.
